Be regular in attendance.

Always be early to rehearsal. Be in your place ready to sing before the director is ready to start.

Be in your spot, ready to sing, before the break is over.

Come with a pencil and a bottle of water. Mark the director’s wishes in your music with the pencil. Hydrate often, as this is vital for vocal health.

Don’t wear perfume or cologne. Bathe often. You are usually in tight quarters—sometimes in a warm room—for an extended period of time. Be courteous to your fellow choristers.
